Biography
Rachel Stevens was born to Michael and Linda on April 9th 1978.

In 1989, an 11-year-old Rachel took her first acting steps in a film called "Taking A Stand".

Rachel has often been complemented on her style and good dress sense, which shows why she won a J17 modelling competition at the tender age of 15. Being eager to shop as much as possible and being eager to look right, she shipped her whole wardrobe out to Miami during the filming of "Miami 7". Rachel liked the 70s clothes which had to be worn for the S Club 7 TV episode "Bermuda Triangle" and enjoys the results from the hard work and effort that are put into S Club 7's acting, dancing and singing.

Throughout her life, Rachel has always wished her legs were a bit longer and says her favourite part of her body is her stomach due to her piercing.

Luck certainly played its part to get Rachel her place as a member of S Club 7.
Rachel was studying fashion design when the S Club 7 auditions came up. She was getting a bit fed up with her design course and knew she really wanted to do something else.
Rachel was in the right place at the right time when she was asked to audition for S Club 7. She was waiting in the rain for her brother outside where he worked, so they could go and get lunch together, when two men from 19 Management told her she would be perfect for the band. She took some information and went in to record a song not long afterwards.

Since then she has been a main focus of press attention due to her looks and high-profile status, as illustrated by attaining the title of "FHM's Sexiest British Woman" for 2001 and 2002 - finishing 2nd to Jennifer Lopez in 2001 and third overall in 2002. Her debut entry, 2000, saw her attain a mid-20s ranking.

Rachel has proved herself to be a notable TV personality, with (obvious) roles in the four S Club TV series' to date and is part of the S Club movie, due out Easter 2003 (UK).
After presenting ITV's "Record of the Year" 2001, Rachel has since filmed a small role for a forthcoming British film. With rumours of S Club's demise ever growing, the future surely looks positive for Ms Stevens.

Rachel will, as ever, have a prominent role as she provides lead cover for the injured Jo O' Mera as S Club promote their forthcoming singles and 2003 tour. Keep a watch on the front page for TV details...

In early 2002, Rachel announced her engagement to Holby City's Jeremy Edwards - finally putting an end to media rumours of forthcoming wedding bells. However a date for the wedding is, at the time of writing, still to be set.

However not everyone can be perfect, and Rachel's little quirk is that she's afraid of getting locked in toilets and subsequently never locks the door!
